Studio Policies
Payment Policy:
- There is a one time registration fee per student.
- Payment is due for the week, at the student/family’s first class of the week. Payment for special session classes (Ex: Turns, Jumps, Leaps) is due when session begins.
- Pre-payment or monthly payments can be arranged.
- If classes aren’t paid on time there will be a late fee added each week that payment is late.
- Payment can be given by cash, check or credit card (Visa or Master Card). Monthly credit card authorization can be arranged.
- Checks should be payable to: Ziegler Dance Centre or ZDC.
- There will be a service charge for returned checks. If a check is returned from the bank, we will no longer accept checks from you, only cash or credit card.
Absentee Policy (Strictly enforced):
- There are no absences allowed, however, we do offer make-up classes. Please be aware that there are NO make up classes allowed in the months of May and June due to Recital preparation. ZDC does not charge for scheduled closings stated on our yearly calendar or for emergency closings or snow closings.
Class Policy:
- Students must be on time for class.
- Students must have the correct dress code and shoe requirement as soon as possible.
- if a student is going to be absent please call the studio and inform your teacher so a make up class can be arranged.
- All cell phones are to be turned off when in the dance rooms.
- NO food or Gum allowed in dance room. Water is allowed (no glass containers).
- No Street shoes of any kind can be worn in the Dance Rooms at anytime.
- NO Dance shoes permitted outside.
- No dangling jewelry allowed.
- Long hair must be worn away from the face and secured tightly at all times.
- Tights/socks must be worn with shoes.
Emails
- It is extremely important that we have your correct email on file. If you haven’t received emails we do not have your email! Please give it to our office asap!
